Community Resource Center First Call For Help of Sweetwater County Our Mission in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, is twofold: first, to assist other community agencies and organizations in referring people to useful services, organizations, and agencies; second to refer individuals themselves to useful services, organizations, and agencies. We accomplish this task by maintaining an updated Directory of resources, by advertising in the local media, and by maintaining a phone referral system. Friendship Sports International Old Bill's Fun Run for Charity The first event of its kind in the nation, the idea for Old Bill's Fun Run for Charities came from an anonymous couple affectionately known as Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill. Their vision was to expand the charitable pie in Jackson Hole by encouraging the entire community to participate in philanthropy. On the second Saturday of every September the people of Jackson show their generosity of spirit through Old Bill's Fun Run for Charities. In the months leading up to the event local donors make gifts--from 50 cents to $500,000--to their favorite causes.
